Photos of the new baseball stadium
Oregon State beat Evansville last night 9-2, but that wasn't the story. The story was the new turf, scoreboard, and a homecoming for the Beaver National Champions.

The wife and I went to a game on Saturday and the new additions look great. The turf is amazingly slow and we saw a lot of bunts during the game that should have been outs that weren't. Luckily they were in favor of OSU. The scoreboard was great, the only flaw that I saw, was that they had netting over it so it made the screen look strange at moments but I would rather have it protected in the long run.
I even got to walk and touch the new field turf. I did a promotion, musical chairs, during the top of the fourth inning and was able to walk onto it and when no one was looking I touched it. It was an awesome experience. I did lose at musical chairs after I decided to give my chair up since I basically plowed over a chick with my booty.
We also saw lots of video clips from the CWS. It still gives me chills to see them. And will they say "The Beavers are the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!" gets me teary eyed too.
I am going to go get my tickets for this weeks games. I am excited. I might have an extra student ticket on Friday if someone still has their OSU idea they can have it.
I can't wait to go. Sunday I'll be there! Please be good weather...
