It's Super Regional time!

This first game is a big one. The Beavs need to establish the tone early and get this first win. The depth of their pitching staff is the key, I think they win a 3 game series with Stanford 9 times out of 10. But I want to see the Beavs win two and get ready for the CWS. Get ready to win some games in Omaha.

Here is what ESPN has to say about the matchup:

Oregon State hosts Stanford

And some interesting news is that Matt Moore might be interested in playing baseball for the Beavs nex season. He was drafted in the 22nd round out of high school and could be an interesting option for the Beavs.

Local McMinnville story about Joe Patterson:

And finally, the coolest thing about this post is that I'm doing it on I-5 while riding up to Portland. I'm testing out this Sprint Air Card thing for my laptop and it's pretty cool. Through any decent sized city you get like cable modem speeds! Amazing! It works through the cell phone network so that's pretty much anywhere. So far no gliches other than a few cell phone dead spots where things get slow. If you're on the road a lot or in someplace without broadband, this thing may be for you.

Go Beavs!
